Wanting to tie the knot but daunted by the planning? Well, if you come along to Halswell on the weekend of 22nd/23rd May we can help you get off to a great start. On this special weekend we have the entire house and grounds open for viewing with personal guided tours and private consultations to show you how Halswell can be the venue of your dreams.

The house will be laid out as if for a wedding celebration thereby giving you the chance to visualize how it all works and why Halswell is truly a venue apart. Core hours are 10am to 6pm but if you wish to come outside of theses please call us on 0845 204 1066 and we will be glad to meet you when convenient.

Coming from some distance away? No problem. Give us a call prior to the weekend and we’ll be happy to offer you overnight accommodation at discounted rates on one of the properties within this historic estate (subject to availability).

This weekend is not a wedding fair but a chance for you to see the house as it will be laid out for a wedding/partnership celebration. If you book on the day we will start the ball rolling by giving you a 5% discount… so what are you waiting for? Come and see why Halswell is the venue of choice and style comes as standard.

Music at the Mansion - Sunday 9th May 2010

British Flag Carnival Club are exceptionally grateful to all the people who attended the now well established 'Music at the Mansion' which was held on 9th May 2010. Halswell House have continued to support the club by allowing us to use the venue for this spectacular event. The Grafton Singers were supported this year by Francis Walker, Gemma Coombs and Amy Joyce, with other performances by Phoebie Fisher , Emma Ingram and Hatty Eds. The night comprised of Classical Music, Popular Opera, West End music and other popular song. The guests were welcomed into the house with an opportunity to be photographed by professional photographers Martin Jones and Jeff Searle then invited to view the house and grounds, with a licensed bar open all evening and extravagant canapés served during the interval. The guests all enjoyed the entertainment and fantastic setting. British Flag managed to raise over £600 towards this years entry are truly grateful to everyone involved.
